Common Problems When Starting Dieting

If we decided to start dieting! two plans appear in our minds to start it. The first is to start dieting, starting from reducing fried foods, choosing wheat bread for a snack, eat fruit and vegetables. The second plan, start exercising, whether it starts from just jogging around the house in the morning, or join health clubs to participate in a variety of classes such as yoga, RPM, Body Pump, and so on. However, if the diet is as easy as just cutting back food and start exercising, why so many people still complaints like "I've been dieting, but why my weight not come down?" or "I've been exercising hard, but why my stomach does not shrink at all?" What exactly should be considered when we decided to start our weight loss program?

Actually, diet, exercise, whatever way we choose to lose weight, the key is our body's metabolism. It's our body metabolism that regulate our calorie burning. I'm not saying fat burning here, because it would be a different discussion topic. The wrong diet, like eating less or reduce calories hoping weight will come down actually will make our body's metabolism slows down. If your metabolism slows down, will mean fewer calories are burned by the body. Not doing exercise can also slow down your metabolism.

Concentration of the most important in weight loss. It's not on the number of calories we should eat (so every time we eat must first be bothered to count the number of calories we eat). The key is the body's metabolism. From this point of view is we should begin our first step.

Ways to boost your metabolism can be seen from two sides, ie:
  1. Adjust your diet, it takes 5-6x the process of digesting so our metabolism back up to the normal point. Reduction frequency of eating can cause your metabolism down. Try to reduce the amount of calories instead of eating frequency. And also reducing calories gradually. Reduction calories too drastic will damage your body metabolism again.
  2. Start moving, the body that never exercise have slow metabolism. Whatever it's form, it's still far better than you are not moving and just sat in the office or at the dinner table, and rest in bed to watch TV before going to sleep.
These two things are the center of your attention before you start your weight loss program. After you successfully corrects these two problems, begin to adjust your diet well, such as choosing healthier menu, carbohydrates with a lower glycemic index, enough protein and healthy fats each day. Remember that your metabolism is the central engine in your body. If metabolism is still slow, whatever your effort, including taking slimming drugs would not be any results. So when you're dieting, but your weight does not go down, think back about your metabolism. Do not let your metabolism slows down. Your body need correct metabolism in order to adjust to what we want (good body shape).

May be useful for you.

  1. I very much like the way you have provided some extremely useful information about weight loss diet. Thanks for sharing some extremely useful and effective information. By the way let me share my personal experience. There was a time when I gained almost 39 pounds of extra body weight and was desperately trying to reduce that. I took up different type of fat burning exercise but all that went in vein. Then I came across this pill: Lean Belly Breakthrough . I took this pill and lost almost 39 pounds within a few weeks. That’s really amazing isn’t it?
