Is Eating Fat Makes You Fat?

From our time getting fatter, everyone always told us the same thing, namely that we eat fats (often associated with fat or oil), then our bodies will become fat (obese). And if you want thin, the solution is to not eat fatty or greasy foods. Avoid fat by all means. Is reality like that? Needs to know, there are several types of calories, as well as with fat.

Our bodies, process fat differently in different ways as well. The difference is that, by consuming bad fat then we turn off the ignition button of our body that causes more difficult to burn fat. While we consume good fat will increase your metabolism and help your body to burn fat

For example, there are studies which show that the fat in fish oil, EPA (good fats) can increase fat burning and improve the body's insulin sensitivity, while the trans fat (fats that is very bad) actually produces the opposite effect of inhibiting the metabolism and slows fat burning process.

Actually there are three types of fat, that is good fats, bad fats and very bad fats. Good fats improve body metabolism, bad fats slows body metabolism. very bad fat sis a very different variant. These fats are created by humans and can not be digested by our bodies.

Good Fats

Omega 3 is number one good fat. The problem is, in today's modern diet, 99% of all of us lack of omega 3. We do not eat enough fish like our ancestors used to be. We can get omega 3 in fish for example salmon, flax seed oil, a few types of nuts also contain omega 3.

Mono saturated fats mostly from olive oil. Mono saturated fat diet can reduce the risk of diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer. The use of olive oil was also shown to reduce inflammation, increase the immune system, lowers blood sugar, cholesterol and reduce blood coagulation. Sources of monounsaturated fat is extra virgin olive oil, hazelnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, avocado, and so on.

Saturated fat, which is considered quite bad, but it also gives quite a few things that we need. Some effects that less preferred is a type of fat can increase LDL Cholesterol. But enough of this type are needed for young children growth.

Omega 6 polyunsaturated fats that are not refined enough also needed by the body. Commonly found in vegetable oils such as grape seed oil, sesame oil and so on. Use a little if you still want to optimize the burning body fat.

Bad Fats

Polyunsaturated Vegetable Oil which refined includes extensive commercially available such as corn vegetable oil, soy and others. Mostly saturated fat should also be minimized

Very Bad Fats

In this category is trans fat. Trans fats are found in several types of butter, crackers, candies, cookies, snacks, fried foods, salad dressings, and others. This type of fat inhibits the body's metabolism, gain weight and increase the risk of diabetes, heart disease and cancer. The problem is the type of fat we eat is pretty much in our diet everyday

After knowing the types of fat, watch your diet to keep eating the good fats in sufficient quantities. Fat-free diet will not help you lose weight, but eating lot of bad fat is also very dangerous!
